The project

Built around a clear business goal

Hayuka was designed as a quiet, editorial site for a ten-seat Kyoto kaiseki counter in Kuala Lumpur. The site walks visitors through the current nine-course composition course by course, pairs it with a chef profile telling Chef Hana Lim's journey from Kyoto kitchens back to Malaysia, and rounds things out with a gallery of the counter and dishes, press quotes, and a dining-notes FAQ. Every path leads back to a single, focused reservations flow built around the counter's two nightly seatings.
